Why is my account suspended?

To help maintain a safe, trustworthy, and reliable directory for everyone, accounts may be suspended when activity is found to violate our policies, Terms of Service, or the integrity of the platform.
Examples of situations that may result in suspension include:
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading business practices
- Repeated complaints involving failure to provide promised products or services after payment has been received
- Harassment, abusive behavior, threats, or inappropriate conduct toward customers, members, or our staff
- Sending spam, unsolicited promotional messages, or other unwanted communications through the directory
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or website systems
- Providing false, inaccurate, or misleading information in a listing
- Impersonating another individual, business, or organization
- Activities that compromise the security, operation, or reputation of Houston Area Directory
